Well according to me every net user has a negative idea but.now we gotsome really special reasons for protesting against spams because according toa report released in April 2009 bycomputer security company McAfee,spammers last year generated a whopping 62 trillion junk e-mails.
That in term of enery means the wastage of an amount of energy which could have powered 2.4 million homes a year or driven a car around planet 1.6 times, according to a report.
And you must also know that waste of enery is also polluting the environment.
Any thing powered by electricity also emits green house gases.McAfee researchers say each junk e-mail emits 0.3 grams of green house gas CarbonDioxode(CO2).That may not sound like much, but when you consider the volume of global annual spam,itall adds up to 17 millions metric tons of CarbonDioxide.The reports say that 80% of emissions came from energy burned from PC users viewing, deleting , searching for legitimate e-mail under mounds of junk.To view and trash a piece of spam takes 3 seconds McAfee said.so from now on i hope u are against Spams.
